A study in color

Its a funny thing when you think about it, color. Not in a laughable way, but a curious one. You have your light source, the reflected spectrum that makes the perceived color of an object, and then your recording tool. Wether its a camera or your eye, you are only able to view the world through 3 cones of the spectrum, Red, Green, and Blue. Unless you are one of the few to have a fourth cone of Yellow, but then you're just a freak who can see more shades of an already kinda gross color and who really needs that? So what is color exactly? The answer is electromagnetic radiation that is available to our visual spectrum, or light an object doesn't want that you feel like categorizing it by based on what you care about. Its sorta like when you find out your friend's girlfriend doesn't like whales. Sure, she probably doesn't like a lot of other animals too, but really? Who doesn't like whales? Whale hater..
