About me

   Hello, my name is Quaid. I was born in Virginia to a couple of odd ducks who once saw the movie Breaking Away, a movie I've never seen, but from what I gather from the trailer strangely represents much of who I am.

   I was formally trained in the arts in Philadelphia with focuses in photography and digital media, glass, and art history.  Professionally my resume has expanded to include project management and macro operations, but in the end I'm just a man who wants to build that next great dream, whatever that may be.

   Having been on a journey that has taken me from Europe to New York City, I now live aboard a sailboat in the great state of California. Still alive, exploring, and trying to Break Away.
