Mother is God on the lips of all children and for me it is no different. She is the one that introduced me to all the joy in the world and has worked tirelessly to ensure that my dreams can be reality. Her presence has always been so strong in my life which has made it that much harder to watch her battling with Lyme disease these past years. But a battler she is and in the last few months has made great strides to winning her latest war. The Gulf has always been known for its healing powers and to see her so happy in her favorite place in the world was priceless. A writer, a spiritualist, a political activist, an environmentalist, a botanist, a teacher, my Mother.
